Sports Premium

Here at Poringland Primary School and Nursery, we plan to spend the Sports Premium appropriately each year against the following 5 ‘indicators’.

  1. Engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity.
  2. The profile of PE and Sport being raised across the school as a tool for whole school improvement.
  3. Increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and Sport.
  4. Broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils.
  5. Increased participation in competitive sport.

At Poringland, we aim to use this money to help us meet the School Vision we have for our pupils of being healthy, active and happy learners. We carefully track the money we spend and feel the fund adds huge value to our school community.
