Welcome to the Nursery at Poringland Primary School, where the journey of early childhood education unfolds with care and dedication. The Early Years mark a pivotal period in a child’s growth and development, and our Nursery serves as the nurturing ground for their formative years. With class sizes capped at 26 children, we ensure individual attention and tailored support for every little learner who embarks on their educational voyage with us. 

Our Nursery program comprises ten sessions, evenly divided between mornings and afternoons, each guided by our dedicated team of educators. Mrs. Coomer and Mrs. Steward lead the way, offering a seamless transition from Monday through Friday, supported by our exceptional team of Mrs. Newell, Miss Loasby, and Mrs. Routledge. Here, we believe in holistic education, enriching young minds not only academically but also through unique experiences such as learning Signalong, exploring greetings in different languages, engaging in culinary adventures with baking and food preparation, and fostering physical well-being through activities like Zumba and yoga.
