Lunch Menu

All children may choose to use the School Meals Service provided by Norfolk County Services. Alternatively, children can bring their own packed lunch.

School meals are provided by Norse and cooked freshly in our own School Kitchen.   Meals should be ordered and paid for via the Pupil Asset App. Menus are distributed termly. Vegetarian or specialist diets can be accommodated.

Packed lunches should be brought in a named lunchbox. Sweets are not allowed and drinks need to be in an unbreakable container.

At the time of publication, lunchtimes are staggered to allow all children to eat their lunches and enjoy outside playtime within their year group bubbles. All meals are eaten in the classroom under the supervision of the Midday Supervising Assistants. For safety’s sake, we ask that no glassware, breakable flasks, tins or hot drinks be included in packed lunches. Please be aware that nuts, and products containing nuts, should not be included within packed lunches.

All children are required to bring a water bottle to school, which can be used throughout the day. Recent research has shown that well-watered brains work more efficiently! The children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are provided with free fruit as part of the National 5-a-day Fruit and Vegetable Scheme. Children are entitled to free milk (1/3 pint of semi-skimmed) each day, up until they turn five years old.

Infants are entitled to Universal Free School meals. The School Kitchen offers a set meal – main course and dessert – for the current price of £2.58. Parents/carers should use Pupil Asset App to order and pay for school meals. All meals should be pre-ordered 7 days in advance. All meals need to be paid for by the Thursday before the week of your order.

Free school dinners may be available to families in receipt of some benefits; please contact the office for more information.
